NUST signs a partnership agreement with Namibian Police (NAMPOL)

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between NUST and the Namibian Police (NAMPOL) last week. The MOU outlines a collaboration between the two parties, which will see 35 students in the Police Force being enrolled at the University annually.

The Agreement aims to enhance the quality of programmes offered to the safety and security sector. Specific attention will be given to student placement for Work Integrated Learning (WIL); research collaboration and student excursions. The Agreement came as a result of a WIL training workshop that was organised by the Cooperative Education Unit (CEU) at NUST, where WIL facilitators and members from the Police Force mentored students.

The Faculty of Human Sciences offers a Bachelor of Criminal Justice in Policing, Bachelor of Criminal Justice in Correctional Management, and Bachelor of Criminal Justice Honours programmes on a part-time basis.
