In order to graduate at PUCG, a student is expected to complete a total of twenty one (21) PCLV Courses.

STRUCTURE OF PCLV COURSES

There are four (4) groups of PCLV courses (Group 1, 2, 3, 4). All courses in Group 1, totalling seventeen (17) credits, are compulsory.

NB: Group 1 courses spread from Level 100 – 300 and they are compulsory for all students irrespective of programme of study.

THE REMAINING SIX (6) CREDITS

Students can select only one course from two of the three groups, with the condition that courses chosen should be those outside the student’s main course of study. For example:

  • Business students cannot earn credits from Group 2, Business courses (Business Administration, Business Economics and Agribusiness)
  • Humanities students cannot earn credits from Group 3 consists of Humanities Courses (RCD, Education)
  • Science students cannot earn credits from Group 4 consists of Science/Health Courses (ENRM, ICT, Mathematics, PA and Nursing)
