2. MATURE APPLICANTS: Applicants who want to enter as mature candidates must not be less than twenty-five (25) years old by August of the year of enrolment and must be holders of any of the following qualifications:

B.SC. CATERING AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT EDUCATION
(Full Time and Sandwich)
An applicant must have one of the following categories of entry requirements:
(a) Credit Passes (WASSCE A1-C6 or SSSCE A-D) in three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science; plus a Credit passes (WASSCE A1 C6 or SSSCE A-D) in three (3) Elective subjects, including Food and Nutrition and any two (2) of the following: Management in Living, Textiles, Clothing and Textiles, General Knowledge in Art, Chemistry, Economics, Biology, and General Agriculture.
(b) Mature Applicants
Applicants must be at least 25 year by 1st September and have any of the following qualifications:
• Advanced Cookery Certificate (Cookery 812/2) or its equivalent
• GCE “O” and “A” Levels
• Advanced Cookery Certificate (Cookery 812/2) or its equivalent
• Teacher’s Certificate “A” or Teacher’s Diploma in the relevant subject area
• Applicants must pass a written entrance examination.
(c) Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate Holders
Applicants must:
• Have a good HND Certificate (at least 2nd Class Lower Division) or its equivalent in Catering
• Have acquired a 2-year post-HND qualification working experience
