WAEC extends registration date for 2020 WASSCE school candidates

– WAEC has announced its plan to extend the 2020 registration period for school students seeking to sit for WASSCE

– The exam council said the registration period for the school candidates has been extended to Monday, March 2

– WAEC also noted in its extension notice that there would be no payment for late entry

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced the extension of the closing date for its West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) registration.

This was contained in a tweet via its official Twitter handle, @waecnigeria, in the morning of Tuesday, February 25.

Going by the extension notice released, the registration has been extended from Friday, February 21, to Monday, March 2, without the payment of any late entry fee.

Schools have been advised to take advantage of the extended window to complete their registration for the examination diet.

The council, through Olu Adenipekun, head of the Nigeria national office, said it also withheld the results of 9,457 candidates.
